Bow ties always were related to black attire events and the "nerdy" look. Put it on a woman and it becomes fearless and sophisticated. Although this was a 2012 trend, I have become fascinated with the look. It is not a everyday look, you can always bring them out when you want to have a funky, sexy, and sophisticated . I am all about having a classy look with a little twist and the bow tie is definitely one way to achieve that look. Over the past few years, women have been pairing the bow tie with motorcycle jackets, button down blouses, chain necklaces, suspenders and blazers. Bow ties are often best pulled off when accompanied by neutral colors such as black and white.
